Evening all. As a newbie I thought I'd ask for some advice.

I bought a Pockex as my first vape. I like it, but I've noticed over the last couple of days it gets really hot at the bottom when charging. When I say hot, I mean that you can't hold your finger on the bottom for too long.

I'm using the charging lead that came with it, and it's plugged into a Belkin two USB wall charger, and plugged directly into the wall.

I don't leave it to overcharge, and this happens while it's charging.

As a newbie ape, am I doing something wrong and missing something obvious? Any help appreciated!

Youre putting 2.4 amps into it which is too high and why its getting hot.
You would be better off un plugging it and purchasing a usb plug.

Thanks for your help.

Just to clarify, the Belkin plug is a standard wall plug with two USB ports at the bottom of it. I've checked the plug, and it says the output on each USB port is 1A.

I've just checked and it's cooled a little now.

Ideally 0.5a is best.

Tbf instead of describing how I'm charging it, it would have been infinitely easier if I'd taken a photo for my first post. [emoji849][emoji16] This is what I'm using.
