Bad Service - UK Vendor in the Vendors List

Not naming the Vendor at the moment - but would like your thoughts on this and best way to proceed.

On 17/05 I ordered a Yihi SX Mini M next day I get an 3 emails (ack, shipped and can you contact us) & phone call which I missed, but phoned them back, for them to say supplier didn't send colour that I had ordered only grey/silver and silver/grey, I asked when they will get them and was told next week.

2 weeks later I'm still waiting - no further communication - so I email them, email gets bounced by their system saying Spam, so I email them using a different email address/server and that gets bounced as well, phone using same number that I originally called them on and get a completely different company - HUH!!

Post message on their thread here, but end up deleting it due to them answering the query on FB - saying they are still waiting for the colour to come in and would I like a refund, wished I'd said yes now, told them about email problem and phone as well.

Time flies and last Friday am getting fed up waiting so email them again - bounced, so onto FB and they come back to me saying that they still haven't got colour in, only grey/silver and silver/black so decide to take latter, knowing it was too late for shipping that day I expected it to ship on Monday, they don't work Saturdays, so that I would receive it today (RMSD Next Day before 1 pm paid for). Get shipping number and later last night check it out to find these idiots have sent it RM Signed for (1st or 2nd ??), so I might be lucky to get it by the end of the week if it doesn't fall down the RM Black Hole that a lot of my stuff has been disappearing into.
 
That's horrendous customer service. I don't know the full story but a company that is not available directly through e-mail, online form, and by phone sounds a bit dodgy to me. I can understand there being some temporary issues with server downtime effecting the e-mail service, but to have to go in to your FB account to check on updates from the vendor is pretty poor. Personally, I would have went for the refund and purchased from a reputable vendor listed here on the forums. Sending a pricey package like that through standard mail is a bit of a joke. If you paid for SD then that is what you should receive.

If this doesn't arrive by Friday at the absolute latest, I would demand a refund due to negligence. I would like to think that they were just having a bad day, but for the issue to continue over the span of a few weeks and with the varying errors made, I would think more on the side of incompetence.

Sorry to hear about the nightmare and disappointment you have had. Hopefully the SX arrives safe and sound. ;)
 
My vote goes for a negative review with the vendor named. This kind of service is shockingly bad.
 
From reading previous threads about stocking the Sx mini but only in certain colours - can we assume it's the same one.....?!

Appalling and I am willing to bet I know exactly who this shower are.:( A very dear friend has had a horrendous time dealing with the over a returned high buck item.

Yep, they need naming. So at least if anyone else wants to do business with them they go into it with their eyes wide open.
 
I'm out of the loop here so would also like to know who the vendor is to save myself and others the same mishap.
 
Wow crappy service, hope it arrives OK. Hate when people sell stuff that they don't even have in stock.
 
can understand why you didnt want to name them,nobody likes giving vendors a bad name as misstakes can happen but imo after reading all that i think they need naming,its not like a pack of coils or some cheap item. you have spent a decent sized amount of cash with them and them taking the piss with the postage would have pushed me over the edge personally
 
It's amazing you had the tollerence to let it go so far, they don't deserve your custom. Who is it ? Save us from the same hassle.
