hi all,

I was looking to pick up a couple of new 18650’s & a 4 cell charger. Like the look of the Molicel P26A or P28A on Fogstar but thought I’d sanity check here first.
Running a single cell 100W reg mod at present but looking for a dual (say 200W’ish) reg mod in near future, maybe the topside dual too if a deal pops up.

What would you recommend for cells & a decent charger?

Also, thought I saw a bank-hol Fogstar discount code on here a few days ago but can’t for the life of me find it now ...although I did have my beer goggles on so could have been a Darkstar code I saw

Either of those cells are fine in a regulated mod, there is a battery calculator on the website which will advise on which batteries are suitable for whichever mod you're interested in. As for a charger, the Xtar Fogstar sells are fine. Hi mate, just recently been looking for a top 18650 myself for a single 100w mod. After days searching I decided on this. The "Man" gives it the thumbs up. That's good enough for me. Mines ordered.

Great batteries those VTC5As but both Molicell out perform them. Also Molicell batteries are authorised by the manufacturers for use in vape mods, unlike Sony, Samsung & LG. Not sure if you heve them down under though.

Hi mate. Yeah, thats the best I can source here from reputable dealers. We have nowhere near the choice the rest of the world has. Some have other stuff but are too dodgy for my liking, to say the least. Gonna put one in an Aegis Solo. Only have 20amp ones at present in 18650's but want to put a tank with just a little more oompf on it. Dont want to stress the 20's. Did the calculations and they should be good.

Some have other stuff but are too dodgy for my liking, to say the least. Gonna put one in an Aegis Solo. Only have 20amp ones at present in 18650's but want to put a tank with just a little more oompf on it. Dont want to stress the 20's. Did the calculations and they should be good.

Yeah they're fine & very good cells. Still use them in mech mods with the extra Amp headroom for safety but slowly replacing them for the Molis' as they're getting old. Ideal in single cell mods but it's a slight trade off with less mAh but safety first . You need to let cell suppliers know about the Molicell though, they are that good, & available in 18650/20/21700 so nearly all bases covered.

Thanks @nwhornet. The P28A’s were out of stock by the time I got home this evening so I got a couple of the P26A’s, and the code you linked worked a treat.
I held off on the charger for now as I was umming & erring over the xtar VC4, VC4S or the 2-cell SV2 ‘rocket’. The 2A charging on the last 2 appealed but wasn’t sure it was worth the extra cost in reality (+£5 for QC3.0 adapter on VC4S worth getting?), or if only having 2 slots on the SV2 would bug me down the line.
