Battery Advice

I'm lost here... why are you destroying your batteries @Jd_?
Well, it wasnt intentional.
Heh, well, i guess in this case it was, but i needed to know if it would happen with the very mod i carry with me when there is a high possibility of dropping it.

Gonna try it again when the 40t's i just ordered get here too, then decide how to best fix the issue

Because im holding it.

Im sitting in my recliner, simply held it out and dropped it. I truly didnt expect it to happen that easily. Didnt even have a tank on it

Just measured, it was only from a height of 18 inches or so

-deleted- ill keep my opinions to myself

I think a rubber grommet placed around the positive spring will actually be the best solution. I think a small one would be the right thickness to stop the post from bottoming out (rather than shove a piece of platic into the battery)

Maybe I'm missing something, but would it not be better to try and fix the issue only if/when you do accidentally drop your mod? Otherwise it sounds a bit like setting your kitchen on fire to see if your fire extinguisher works.
