BBC1 Wales..E cigs coming up.

Regarding the idea of banning vapers in the work place, this is my view. It should not be one law to rule them all. Employers/companies should be free to assess their own individual situations. I respect the wishes of non vapers, we're all humans & we have to share the same spaces. In fairness to non vapers, they do have their right to clean air removed if vapers do not respect their space.

Ok so we know it won't harm them, coffee smells as well & so does a cheese & onion sandwich etc etc.. & there is more pollution in the air as we commute than any e cig can cause. Honestly though, that particular area of e cig legislation to me is a minor detail. I don't expect to be allowed to either smoke or vape in an enclosed space among non smokers & non vapers.

I'm not against the vapers who want to vape in the office etc, but i also don't see it as a big deal if we can't. There are other areas of proposals & ideas regarding over legislation of vaping products which i find far more pressing & important.
Let's not forget that to achieve a fair balance we must not see ourselves as exceptions any more than non smokers & non vapers. Everyone pays their tax & we all have our views.

If they ban vaping in the work place, i won't complain. If they make vaping difficult to access or if they impose their tpd laws on it, i'll shout to the hilltops. I just want to be able to continue what i do & for it to be a sustainable activity for my future. I don't drink nowadays, can't afford to go out very often, i don't use any other substance apart from caffine, they've pushed the smoker out of me & now i will vape all i like.

According to the radio 2 news just now they only want to ban ecig because they are a health risk because they contain nicotine and want to stop a new generation from becoming addicted to this highly addictive substance (their words not mine).
Be interesting to see what would happen when they try to prosecute someone vaping 0mg.

Sent with kind regards and salutations.

I just heard this on radio 1 welsh gov says ecigs just as harmfull as tobacco how can they say this shit. Unbelievable.

Tbh, i don't think they are saying that. Maybe the bbc are though eh ! Chinese whispers. Welsh gov are still a bunch of rednecks though, well they would be if they got any sunshine. :wanker:

:banghead:
Honestly not sure how much more mainstream media Bullshit I can actually stomach!

The final comment the BBC read out was the old "They don`t know what`s in them they could be putting all sorts of harmful chemicals in there"

I swear to God if I hear that line one more fucking time!!!
Give me a refund on my bloody TV license if you aren`t going to even attempt to represent my views or be even slightly impartial.

Not sure if this is "Great" Britain or North Korea these days.

I love Wales, I have friends in Wales I visit regularly but the Welsh Government needs to take its head out of its arse, as does the UK Government and the EU politicians this is all getting beyond a bloody joke.

If anyone`s seen Falling Down with Michael Douglas, that`s how I`m feeling right now.

Aaaaaand relax.

I saw the interview with MarkDrakeford (his twitter address!) and I'm afraid I saw red. These idiots make me bloody furious so I lashed out at him a couple of times on twatter. This seems to be a very definate agenda by the Labour party to ban ecigs.

I'm thoroughly pissed off at the constant references to renormalization of smoking. If it does this, then how the fuck will it alter perceptions when it's medicalized? Or, just because the price paid for it includes big P in the handing round of backhanders makes it okay!
