Hey PotVers,

I've been vaping for a couple of years now after 20 years of smoking but my kit was very cheap to start out with (GS Ego batteries & disposable atomisers) and now it's time to replace it.

I should make it clear, I'm pretty damn poor. I don't have the cash for an overly complex mod, I've generally been fine with the vaping experience I've had using a cheap setup but reliability has been an issue, the threads on my cheap batteries quickly stopped holding the atomisers and charger. I've had to jury rig my setup just to keep it working. And of course, sometimes an atomiser simply doesn't work.

So my question is pretty basic, would you please recommend me a good quality, not overly expensive setup with affordable and easily available replacement parts?

I'm very much a noob here, all I know is what I've used until now, so if you start talking about coils and the like, you'll have to explain to me as though I'm an idiot! Also, ideally I'd like something I can get affordable batteries for so I can have a backup, I'm currently using 3 EGO batteries so I'm never without one that's charged.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Have a look at this one, it’s a decent basic upgrade -

https://www.ecigone.co.uk/innokin-jem-pen

There is a YouTube vid there that’s worth watching, it shows you exactly what to do with it, how the put the coil in, etc. It’s very straightforward. Worth getting a pack of coils to go with it, if you like the look, they’ll keep you going for a while -

https://www.ecigone.co.uk/innokin-jem-pen-replacement-coils-2-0ohm

Or you could try one (or a couple?) of these -

https://www.ecigone.co.uk/artery-pal-2-stick-750mah

And add these to keep you going for a bit -

https://www.ecigone.co.uk/artery-pal-aio-ii-kit-1000mah-tony-b-project-5pk-coils

Again - have a look on YouTube to see exactly what the do with it, it’s pretty basic.

Hey everyone, thanks for the warm welcome, I'll check out the recommendations ASAP.

@Badayuni I'm vaping 12mg 50/50 mix, from onepoundeliquid.com. I'm sure for the price I pay there I'll hear some bad things about the seller but again, its what I can afford and I find it to be fine.

Thanks!
