I'm just about to buy my first selection of concentrates. I've been researching loads of different recipes and have no idea where to start.

I just want to know, and I'm sure there's many others in my boat, what recipe to begin with.

I don't want something with 3-4+ flavourings.

Just something nice and easy with 2 or 3, that's not going to be a dud.

I'm thinking of buying the flavour samples from perfumes apprentice or flavour art can't remember which. You get a choice of 5 samples for 10 quid. I'm going to get 10 of them.

So I'm looking for some versatile flavours that can be used in other recipes.

So what are the flavours you use most?

What's your top 2 or 3 flavour recipe?

Hellooo :)
Have you checked out the recipe section on here? Lots of good ones to give you an idea.

One shot concentrates are also an option - vampire vape t juice quite a few on chefs vapour. Already blended you just add the desired percentage and voila! I favour them as I can't mess them up lol

Whatever recipes you decide to make (obviously based on flavours you like, or think you would like), it will be trial an error. I would recommend starting out with simples recipes, as I have. As a newbie to mixing I was advised to try a couple of fruit flavours, as they are virtually shake and vape and will give you something to vape whilst the others steep/mature. I've got a thing for peanut butter, but the one I've mixed hasn't proved as good as the pre-made that I bought, but it is still steeping. Currently I'm really enjoying sweet strawberry, cherry crush and cream soda. I even got a little adventurous on Saturday mixing juices with 2 and 3 flavours. Get me.:rotflmao: What ever you make, keep meticulous records, so you can make adjustments to future recipes. Good luck and enjoy the world of mixing.

Four flavours you're likely to use a lot of, unless you dislike them, are strawberry, vanilla, caramel and cream.

Add a couple of other fruits and menthol/anise/Koolada if you like that sort of thing.

Acetyl Pyrazine is cropping up in a lot of juices, you could add that later, together with Flavor West flavour enhancer.

A good first time recipe would be 5% of each caramel, vanilla and banana or strawberry.

Luci is right, buy signature concentrates to beggin with untill you understand flavour paring, if you dont wana do that buy some tfa smooth it helps blend flavours together taking out high notes and boosting low notes, not a fan myself but sweetner is used in alot of recipes and if you want menthol just go to your chemist and buy pure menthol crystals and dissolve in pg cheaper :)
