Best tank for an istick Melo ??

Hi @Sally76 and welcome to the planet.
a quick google shows its a 60watt mod.
so the questions, have you vaped before and if so what kit have you used.
if your totally new to this malarky then there are two styles of vaping and two different forms of nicotine.
MTL mouth to lung using low wattage like 10-14w or DTL direct to lung where you can use much higher wattage from 20-150w
couple of videos below explaining
then you have nic salts 20mg/10mg which are very smooth on the throat or freebase nicotine which gives more of a throat hit 18mg/12/6/3mg. salts have only been around for 5 or 6 years and used in all the throw away disposables that will be banned this year.
i started on 18mg freebase and stopped smoking overnight after 37 years. then within a month i cut down to 3mg and have stuck there ever since for the last 10 years.
if you want to replicate like smoking then the nautilus 3 tank is well liked on here as is the innokin zlide or zenith.

Thank you so much for a lovely detailed explanation I thank you for taking time to respond. I quit smoking 7 years ago and had an Istick Melo straight away for a few years but can’t remember what tank I had. Then I Went onto these money draining disposables. I’ve just found a brand new Istick Melo battery in the box in me drawer
so I’m going go back to these vapes I think. I only need the tank n coils … but me going into a vape shop listening to such detailed chatter about volts and amps and watts lol my head falls off 
oh another note I’m was never a big smoker when I did (10 a day) and even with the vapes I don’t use it a lot. I may be making myself sound dense here lol but I’ve never understood the lung to mouth and straight to lung I don’t understand what it means

Did you watch the videos which explains the different styles.
MTL is just the same as smoking so you inhale into mouth, then take down to lungs then exhale. DTL you cut out the mouth bit and inhale a larger amount directly to lungs like a bong if you ever indulged back in the day. On hospital now having infusion drug so will seRchtfor some tanks later.
So you've tried disposables which only have NIC salts.

Any tank with a 510 connector would be fine, the tank is just a reservoir for your juice, it`s the coil that gives it flavour, I`m assuming that you dont build your own coils so you will be looking for a stock coil tank that doesn`t have a reputation for leaking, there are loads about, just look for one that you can get coils for, the Voopoo tanks are cheap, reliable and there is a good variety of coils available for them. I`m surprised you found a shop with someone who knew what coils and tanks are, they all seem to want to sell you disposables or pods nowadays.
If you cant find a tank I`ll send you one that I dont use any more, if you`ll pay the postage.
