Partly, its the actual untouched liquid we are discussing but regardless bacteria is all around and in us, yes we are all riddled with bacteria every living thing is for better or worse :D

Aye I know bacteria is a way of life :P

Some medicines are primarily bacteria, it just intrigued me :P

Issue is whether bacteria is main agent in effects of steeping or rather more manageable chemical process involving molecules and bonds and such. Interested to see the info...

I stand corrected :) but the bacteria is a marginal increase over tobacco smoke which is ten-fold so I have discovered.
Got any good links at hand to this information Ment ?

I did check up on the anti-bacterial qualities of PG when this came up before, I'll try and find it.

As far steeping goes, I haven't found anything about it yet, I'm just making assumptions based on knowledge in other areas so I could be completely wrong and it is a 100% chemical process.

I should imagine the bacteria is harmless and will be killed on the coil anyway. I'm sure we've all had mouthfuls of eliquid with no ill effects.

It must be a combination of chemical and bacterial processes, the effects depending on whether the flavouring is natural or nature identical.

I'm not the slightest bit worried about bacteria, always keep plenty with me at all times ;) Also, whut? I think the effects of bacteria on altering the flavour during steeping would be negligible and it's a new idea/notion I've never before heard suggested and am curious what leads you to think that may be the case. Because it might be the case, I don't know ;)

So in theory, a heavier PG mix will need less steeping time than a VG heavy mix?

Apologise if that makes no sense, my illness has just kicked me brain around the block xD

Id guess so with it been thicker take longer to mix in? Sounds right lol
