What's new

Bigger batches

Id guess so with it been thicker take longer to mix in? Sounds right lol

With the PG being the one that breaks down the mix, I'd imagine say a 60% PG mix would steep faster than a 20% PG Mix.

But as I said, I'm not currently with it.

And I don't use PG (except flavouring), just another thing that's intrigued me :P

So in theory, a heavier PG mix will need less steeping time than a VG heavy mix?

Apologise if that makes no sense, my illness has just kicked me brain around the block xD

It's hard to say - PG will kill off much of the bacteria, but VG seems very inert so could take a lot more breaking down. Then there's the matter of how much of the mix is natural. All organic material starts to decompose as soon as it's dead so a mix without any natural flavourings will take much longer to get going.

Hmm... That's genuinely intrigued me now...

May have to get some PG & VG.

Mix up some PG heavy & some VG heavy (same ratios, same concentrates and same setups), and test them after a few days steeping. See if one steeps faster than the other

Yes, will be interesting. As I've said before, there's a huge area of potential research here, with the effects of different wicks, coils, airflow and steeping.

this could potentially cost you a lot of money, when we create juices we go with the standard 15 mixes of various ratios to find the one true juice thats balanced, and thats for just one juice.
