What's new

bit of help please

They'll yell at me for this, but I don't personally think an ego battery and a CE clearomiser is a bad set-up to start out with. Now for sure if you have more money to invest there's better kit, but if you're taking your first step up from coffin nails or cigalikes and you're on a budget, go for it. It'll be like night and day. You can get the posh kit later.

I've got a itaste vv3 battery I can let u have cheap with a charger and Il throw in an evod tank or clear 30

Sent from my HTC One X using Planet of the Vapes mobile app

Hello and welcome... you're in the right place if you want advice. I started with an Itaste MVP and CE4 kit, with RY4.... available at a very reasonable £39. Quality device if a little ugly (my opinion)

Don't let it get to you. It all totally depends on your preferences and needs!

Moving up from a cig-a-like can make all the difference (did for me way back). The first questions: Do you want to plug and play or get a bit more technical with a little required maintenance? The next thing is, how much will you use it during the day? Finally what would you like to spend.

There are a lot of EVOD starter packs out there or you can buy singularly and they are a very reasonable price - EVOD 650Mah battery (last around 6hrs moderate use) used with an EVOD clearomizer and they are very popular and produce great results! With an EVOD clearomizer a 1.8 or 2.2 Ohm atomizer head would work well. You can maintain your atomizer head (replaceable part of the clearomizer) for weeks with cleaning or simply replace after a week or so (when the flavour gets bad) at a very small cost at around 2 quid each to make it more simple. The EVOD atty heads also come fully rebuildable so if you want have a go later on when you get more confident you can. This set up is simple and can take you through various stages of vaping. Go have a look, it's a good starting point and youtube will have all the reviews to explain in more detail..

Good luck and please reply if you have any more specific questions..
is the evod basicly the same as the ego bat with something like the ce5

Yes they are very similar in many ways, especially looks. The main differences:

1. Price. eGo's were a founding brand type and are more expensive as such
2. eGo's operate at a constant voltage of 3.3v and EVOD's at 3.7v - this does make a difference in the EVODs favour IMO as it gives you a wider access to other atomizer types (resistances)
3. Evods look sexier, come in great 'hot' colours and have a nicer flush button with a better finish

Short answer - Good battery, solid all rounder and durable. Will work with most 510 connections (incl. CE5). Buy CE5/clearomizers/cartomizers at 1.8Ohm resistance for the best results with this battery.

Good luck and if you have any more questions, please get in touch
