I'm looking to mix some blueberry custard, I'm thinking about 12% cap custard 1-2% dulce de leche but not sure about how much blueberry? Maybe 2-3% any recommendations greatly appreciated! Also a mate gave me some lime concentrate has anyone tried this in a custard? Not sure what it would be like...

I used 7% TFA Blueberry Wild in my current Blueberry Yoghurt and I can't really taste the blueberry.

Caveat: my sense of taste is not great.

I'll second the blueberry muted flavour in custards thing, would go at least 10% with blueberry CAP then knock custard down.

I would start at 8% blueberry as its easier to add a bit more to the mix if needed then it is to weaken it back down if too strong.
Hmm really not sure if lime would work with custard TBH.

I've literally just mixed up another batch of blueberry custard, Capella blueberry, fa bilberry and a bit of lemon Sicily with my custard mix, it ticks all the boxes for me, Sicily is a must, fades a little with a steep but nice

I made a mix a while ago using cap vanilla custard and tfa blueberry wild. Even at 10% the blueberry wild is very tame indeed. If it's capella blueberry then as mentioned above start low and increase. 5 to 6% from what I've read.

As for lime, citrus flavours can help lift fruit flavours in mixes, so a few drops may have a beneficial effect on the blueberry. For example I sometimes like adding a little when using my Flavorah boysenberry or strawberry flavours in mixes as it seems to make them 'pop' a little.
