@Chris K thanks, this arrived today. it’s pretty good, metal at the top so it seems a lot sturdier than the standard tank. i always liked the tank but got a bit jaded with it when the flimsy top cap just snapped one day out of the blue.

the longer chimney doesn’t seem to have a negative affect on the vapour either.

That's great! Got to you pretty quick then, everything else seems to be getting held up in Christmas post.

It’s a lot better made than the original, I’ve not broken mine yet but no doubt I will at some point!
