this might help some other having the burning taste

quick fix....remove the rubber washer on the coil (its meant to stop the liquid going up the tube)

switch brands of e-liquid, it made a massive difference for me, i was using hangsen and it burnt non stop so much so i stopped vaping, got some new liquids (different brands) and worked great, bough a different flavour hangsen.....same thing happend burning like mad. i mixed up my own liquid today and working great again now...so deffinatly a problem with hangsen for me on my 2.5ohm, i THINK on my 1.5ohm hangsen was not to bad but i cant be 100% sure as was a while ago now.

on my own mix i was going 5.5 watts and then it would start tasting burnt if i went higher....i removed the rubber washer and now im at 11 watts and no burning at all...doesnt taste great but its not burning. im vaping at 7 watts now and taste great so that quick fix worked for me but on hangsen liquid even without the rubber washer its still burning.

hope this helps someone as i been battling it for weeks on end

Not sure what device you are posting about, but if you are meaning evod/protank style bottom coil tanks something else that you could try is simply removing the additional flavour wicks so that the device actually fizzes pops and cracks like any well behaved atomiser should do rather than a juice starved wick burner. I am at a loss to decipher the logic behind the 'lets put a couple of extra wicks on top of the coil' idea. Even with the more sophisticated devices no 'home coiler' would make up a decent coil,mount it in his RTA/RDA, and then stick another load of wick on top for good measure. Removing or inverting the top 'post grommet' on an evod/protank style is only correcting the problem that the unnecessary extra wicks are causing.

standard evod tank bud came with the evod battery so not a protank or anything, same thing was happening on my vivi nova tank aswell with the hangsen liquid but not my own liquid...2.5ohm on the nova to. it must be something to do with high ohm coils and hangsen liquid lol
