Hi all, just wanted to no if I had to throw a whole rebuildable clearomizer away. The other day i filled up my clearomizer with cappuccino flavour e-liquid and I didn't like it so I took the clearomizer apart and cleaned it under a warm tap and left it out to air dry. I got some more juices thru the post today so filled up the clearomizer with New juice but it tastes burnt, so im wondering whether it's all knackered or can I save bits from it?

Hi did you give the wicks time to soak up the juice?
Normally 5 mins waiting after filling should do it.
If it still tastes burnt you can get a new atomiser head if its removable for about £2

Is it a ce4/ce5 type?

I hate it when I buy a new juice and it's nasty. And then I have to clean all the clearomizer out.

Or you could go and get a tank system,I never got on with ce4,ce5 clearomiser's.
Ended up getting an iclear 30s have had no problems since I have had it,if your using an ego battery the Kanger Mini pro tank 2 is top notch!!!!

I don't no what clearomizer it is, it's the ones that came with the vision 3 ego starter kit, I have bought more clearomizers for back up when the 2 I got with the kit r knackered but only been vaping 13 days so they r still ok, well apart from the one I cleaned, I might just throw it but I just wanted to no what part was causing the burning taste, coz if it's the wick I can just replace that instead of throwing the whole lot

Its a ce4 type just googled it. That clearomizer was probably approaching death any way. Just bin it! I've had that before after washing and drying them. How much are you paying for the replaceable heads? If I was you I'd try the iclear 16 after you have used up the replaceable heads. You can buy them cheap from myepack they sell 5 replaceable heads for £7 as well.

You could also give the evod a try. I've got some myself. But I do find the flavours are muted to a degree with them. But they are real easy to change heads on them and you don't waste any liquid in the process.

Im with Abyss if your sticking with the ego battery the evod would be a good shout and even the mini pro tank 2 as said before, you really cant go wrong with either, easy to change the coils and no mess :D

You could try overnight soaking of all the bits of the clearomiser in sodium bicarbonate solution - one teaspoon in a glass of hot water. Give it a good wash after soaking and leave to dry out.
Sodium bicarbonate is also known as baking soda (NOT baking powder), or you could use one of your gran's steradent tablets.
