Just to add my thoughts now I've finally tasted it after 12 days steeping.

I agree it's an odd one - not overly sweet, but not savoury either - perception seems to flit between the two...

I can definitely see where the Lotus biscuit comparison comes in, it's the most similar thing I've found to it yet but by no means identical. I mixed at 15% and that seems just about right for me.

Have to say I am really enjoying this, but also want to try it with a little bit of custard mixed in

It's very sweet and sickly but other people like it
