Can someone PLEASE recommend a good MOD at a resonable price ???

Please help....im pulling me fecking hair out here!
Im a newbie to all this vaping so its a bloody mine fireld out there when I'm deciding on what MOD or tank to buy, I started out with a simple starter kit (this one) and wanted to up grade, so I bought an XGun VV/VW mod (because i fell in love with the wooden laser etched dragon:-?) with an Aspire Nautlius BDC tank......The first one I had turn up never even worked, so I sent it back & was sent a replacement, apart from having a bit of an eratic button that one lasted 2 weeks before I popped the battery in after charging oneday & that wouldnt work!....was offered a refund, but I wanted to give it another go & replacement no3 was sent (that was today)....& guess what....that one didnt work straight from the box either!.......so its just been sent back & I'm now waiting for a refund upon its return.
Im still tempeted to get another Xgun, but my logic is telling me to buy something else & ignore the fancy wooden dragon!.most other wooden mods ive seen are £100+ & I just cant jusify paying that kind of money.........What I would like is a non blingy & reliable mod that just fecking works.....Im not a fan of the big silver/copper/brass mods (sorry but i think they look like big shiney dildo's......& no im not speaking from experince....lol).....At first I wasnt a fan of the mods shaped like a brick, but theyre kinda growing on me, Ive seen a few Hana clones around & would consider one of those (im going for a clone because im not paying £170 !!) but theres so many different ones ive no idea which one is the best to go for ?....Or if anyone has any other suggestions I would appreciate it.........Please help, Im back on the starter kit again & its doing my sweede in !

If you are not keen on the shiny effect, have you seen what can be done with a copper or brass mod and a bag of boiled egg?

I have the clouper hana clone and its pretty damn good but I would grab an ipv2 instead as it offers more should you wish to move on to rda/rba at a later stage https://www.elegantvapour.co.uk/mods/variable/ipv-50w-box-mod.html

Thanks for the quick reply guys, Dont get me wrong Diche.....I do like copper (im a plumber by trade) but I like it in pipe work & not as a vaping device....plus my friends would think im smoking a bit of old copper pipe...lol.....That XGun wasnt copper, its 100% brass!!
Ive got some patina soloution here which i use for the coin rings i make, you should give it a wirl mate, its cheap to buy & works much better than eggs - Liver of sulphur
I was thinking about making a mod, but ive got so many other things on the go at the moment I just havent got the time, plus i'd like something to use now & not 2-3 weeks time after ive found all the parts & found the time to piss arse around putting it together.

I did look at the Innokin MVP V2 & a couple of things put me off, 1 was the built in battery, not a fan of that, Id prefer to swap a flat battery & put a fresh one in whilst the other ones on charge.
The other thing was the LCD display & menu system.....the LCD on the hana clones display alot more info at any 1 given time, the clone also has a better menu system & I prefer that fact that it also has separate UP and DOWN buttons....where the MVP doesnt :-(

RBA - Rebuildable Atomiser covers all rebuildable atomisers but some refer to RTA (rebuildable tank atomisers) such as kayfun taifun etc as RBA's
RDA - Rebuildable Dripping Atomiser such as igo w, tobh etc

Sorry to confuse you mate it's all part of the learning process as 10 months ago I just started out and knew hee haw but it all comes together depending on how far you want to take it. Never feel rushed into something go at your pace as it's your vaping journey but we will happily help with any q's you may have.

I wouldn't let those two issue put you off the MVP. The battery life is immense, I get at least two full days of hard use out of mine plus you can plug it in a USB and use it whilst it's charging if it does run flat.
Secondly, the scroll through menu really isn't a big deal. It's a minor annoyance, but no more than that.
Of course, if you want a flashier display with more info anyway (and why not!) then that's not going to help.
