Can you mix an match mods and tanks??

So I've just bought a cool fire 4 box mod from amazon and it did come with a tank so I was recommended by a friend to get a galaxies MTL RTA tank, they've both arrived and I've put it together but it's saying "check atomiser". Ive just received it and I'm hoping it's not broken, any help is appreciated thanks!!

This may be a daft question, and feel free to slap me down if it is. But have you put a coil in the RTA ?
If yes, are the ohm's to low, and check that it is in properly.

No I haven't put that in, this is the first vape I have bought, I'll see if that fixes it

almost all tanks have a 510 connection so that tank should fit fine.
check atomizer usually means coil is not screwed in properly but as this is a RTA it means youve most prob not screwed the posts down correctly or ohms too low. im no expert as dont use rta's so hopefully someone else can advise.

what wire you using and have you got the mod set to the correct kanthal, stainless steel, nickel or titanium.

also if youve not vaped before then going for a RTA is like running before you can walk.

RTA rebuildable tank atomizer. so unlike most tanks where you just screw a ready made coil in on a rda you have to build it which means wrapping wire and adding cotton which is not straightforward especially for a beginer.

Did you know that the galaxy is a tank where you have to build your own coils? and install the wicking material yourself?
Do you know how to do this?
If not your buddy has given you some poor advise.
Have a look at this and ask yourself if you could replicate it?
If the answer to any of this is no then put it back in the box for now.

Welcome John

I would set up the tank that came with your Coolfire to start with, see how you get on with that. The coil will be *much* easier to put in, and you can use it while you practice installing coils on the Galaxies.
