Anyone waiting on a pre order. As expected the production release date has been pushed back again the 20/11.
Fair play to fastech. They are keeping customers in the loop and the fact they are promoting cancellation and ordering an alternative is rather telling.
Hate to say I told you so but I'd still be surprised if it arrives pre Christmas and I'm not certain we aren't going to find a host of issue's. Trying to get a working mod to match the computer generated picture is obviously not without issue.

are they?! i've not received any contact from them or seen any threads about the further delay.

not massively fussed about the wait, as i'd rather they get it right than rush out a paper weight. unless something else comes out that catches my eye (and is within my limited budget) i'll leave my pre-order where it is.

been drooling over this the past couple of days though

I would buddy. It's tempting to drop out and wait but you will find yourself at the back of a huge cue or pay high street prices (which isn't going to happen for me either) I'm currently debating the new aleander regulated. Under £30 and looks a useful regulated squonker. We know the case is sound as yoda has been enjoying the mech version. I shall await the fastech arrival as it's moved from ships in three day's to arriving in four day's. Don't really need to tie up another £30 notes in a virtual mod. Vaping a mod on pre order lacks something. Lol.

I have the capo squonk on pre order as well, but I needed something regulated in the meantime, so I picked up the aleader killer 80w. I have only been using it at work for the last two days, but I have to say that so far it has been superb. I only vape at around 45 watts so the 80w limit is fine for me. I have the black/ blue option and the fit and finish is spot on with no gaps or rattles at all. The resin construction feels really comfortable with rounded edges and a velvet type soft touch. It comes with a 7ml silicone bottle that has not leaked a drop so far me and a little strap to easily remove the 18650 battery.
Its obviously early days with it so far, but my early impressions are very positive and the capo squonk would need to be very special to replace the aleader killer as my work set up.
Just to add I paid £32 pounds from Hotecig which included express Yodel delivery (arrived after 6 days). Bargain!!

Anyone know about the of the chip in the Aleader? I don't know much about the brand but I assume they're using a clone of the SX350j chip. I don't need TC so i'm not overly concerned, just wondering how reliable the chip is if it's the version one.

@staffyduck I don't use TC on the Aleader so I can't comment on that, but in normal power mode the chip seems fine. I can only compare it to my vt inbox with the dna75 chip and at the wattage I use(40/45) it hits just the same. Battery life seems a little better on the Aleader than on the dna75. Only 2 little niggles with the Aleader that I have come across in the two days that I have been using it are that the silicone bottle is very very soft( no leaks though) and the mod goes into the standby state after a few minutes of non use and you have to click the fire button twice to start vaping again. Again, early days with it and I will post here if any problems arise.

Cheers man. Much appreciated.
