Ceramic cups, what's the deal?

So I'm waiting for my clone Rose to turn up and it'll be my first RTA with a ceramic cup, but I noticed that there are others with ceramic cups too. What are they for as I see that you have an option to use it or leave it out?

There are those who don't use them, the option is yours. Personally, I am a huge fan of ceramics, using both Roses, Sophias and occasionally an Oddy Clone. I like what the ceramic does to the whole assembly and have yet to run a Rose without. Some have said it changes the flavour slightly when not using one.

The ceramic cup won't conduct electricity. It means the coil won't short out on nearby metal. I use mine but I use other attys that don't have them.

Yeah, I've got my Kayfun and was just curious. I guess I'll do some testing with and without the cup and see if it's any different.

I didn't notice any difference in taste when i build my rose V2 without the cup, but as said above it does prevent any chance of shorting which is why i'd always use it

Some people swear that it improves flavour. My sophia is a damn tasty vape but so ard alot without. Still breaks the monotony of regukar set ups
