Evening all; got a good collection of ebay cheapo ego batteries and chargers. Just wanted to ask as i've had this problem from the beginning - when charging the red light turns to green after only 1 hour or less on a totally empty battery, or else stays red even after 4 hours of charging? 900mah and 1100mah batteries. So i have to try and guess when to unplug usb charger, can be a bit tricky as sometimes 2 or 3 charging at one time? Anybody have this problem; is it just cheapo batteries/chargers causing this?? Any cures?

Not trying to be funny bud , I would just invest in a decent battery and charger from a reputable vendor.

I would echo the words of @driver2883 If the batteries or the charger are giving you problems like this then I would be tempted to ditch them and buy from a reputeable vendor, easy enough to find one on the POTV market place.

I have two new evod batteries i bought from an ebay seller. They both have the genuine Kanga tech logo on their bases. I noticed today when i charged one of them for the first time it was charged in about an hour - to an hour & a half, thought it a bit strange since they are supposed to take about 4 hours but the real measure will be how long they go between charges & then how long they last.
The only notable query i saw was on the packaging. It clearly looks authentic alright but on one end of the box where there are two little 'Check boxes', one for EU & one for US, it's the US box which is marked rather than the EU box. I just wonder if there are even any differences in components anyway.

I've purchased ego batteries from "reputable" vendors as well as ebay, and they have proven to play up just as much as the "cheapos" from ebay, in some cases even more.

But like the ce4's I think I shall be phasing out the ego's now, and getting some better kit.

Hello Adam, when I first started vaping. I was buying a lot of stuff off eBay and I quickly learned my lesson. Most of it was utter junk! I wasted a lot of money and ended up buying the stuff again.

I'm sure there are good sellers selling good quality stuff on there.
The problem is finding them though.

If I was you I'd get some Kanger batteries 1000 mah for £9.99 from myepack or a MVP 2. Mine is great getting a full two and a half days out of each charge. ☺

That and the pins on both the charger and the battery can go wonky if over tightened, sometimes just a wiggle on the pins can fix it.
