Cleaning tanks etc

Seconded on the ultrasonic cleaner.

If I'm in a hurry to use the atty afterwards I'll use a hairdryer to speed up the drying process - not sure that'll work on a CE4 though

Boiling water + US Cleaner = Clean protank...
Same for ce4s
it gets into areas taps just.. can't.

Theoretically the best way would be the Ultrasonic & Miltons in warm water, but 15 to 30 Mins in warm water and miltons got the menthol out of my tanks. By the way Miltos fluid is Sodium Hypochlorite - used to clean the beer pipes in pubs, and will give of small amounts of chlorine gas if mixed with other cleaners so please use only Miltons...;)

Oh Tubby, you're in my stomping ground. I've been in Southport since at least 1381

I chuck all my stuff in a ultrasonic cleaner with Milton in,it's fantastic for getting the threads and nooks and crannies spotless. Be careful with the plated stuff tho, my bottom spring on a sigelei 13 'it was a gold colour' started fizzing and turned black so it got left in till stopped and its now silver lol. Don't know if it was the Milton fluid or the ultrasonic action or the combination that caused this.
