Cleaning tube mech mods

Never heard of brochrome, sounds like something to give dem cloudzzzz lol, will have a look and give it a go, have tried nichrome but unfortunately only have a reel of 32g so made it into 4 twist I think! Thanks for that :)

After a wee google-fu, you can add a wee dot of loctite or other electrically conductive glue to the annoying bit. Not too much or you lose conductivity.

Search panzer mech mod switch and a few option come up, read, digest and go do what you have to.

So glad my mechs have more useful switches.
The button isn't that bad, the reverse thread locking feature is elegant and quite unique. The mech itself hits very hard provided you keep everything as clean as you can.

Have recently cleaned a couple of tube mech which have a reverse locking switch, they look a lot better but when locking and unlocking them the button also unscrews a little making it protrude more, obviously after a few times it reaches a point where I have to disassemble the mod and tighten it up from the inside! Is there a way to sort this out, it was fine before cleaning, but obviously I understand cleaning is an important factor in mechs, maybe a gripping washer? Anyone else have this issue and/or a solution? Thanks in advance
I have the same issue

I had a look at possible fixes, don't fancy really doing the glue thing, as I can see it potentially going wrong if the glue sticks to the wrong bit, big fat man hands don't make easy delicate jobs ;) the dremel on the switch idea doesn't make too much sense to me as it seems like it's just a way of tightening the switch down more so it doesn't slip, which I can do already, but it shortens the push on the switch to prob less than a mm which again is not ideal, I cleaned and polished the locking threads and it makes a bit of difference, will have another tinker when I get the chance and report back if any progress
