Hi peeps.
Not so much noob to vaping but definitely noob to diy juices
(didn't know if I should have put this in the mixology section)
Just started making my own juices with a diy kit and a few concentrates and first few have been a mix of great and ok.
Been using the Android POTV calculator but just tried a few other calculators (to double check my figures) and they're telling me that the mix I've already made is not "feasible"
Nic is 7.2% in pg
Flavour is 20%
Desired nic is 3mg and 50/50 vg pg mix in a 10ml sample.
Is this actually feasible?
Maybe someone who knows how to use a juices calculator can tell me
Much appreciated.
Mark.

It is feasible. Flavourings will account for 2ml, VG will be 5ml and the last 3ml will be nic and PG so if for example the nic needed to be 0.5ml the PG would be 2.5ml. Just check how much nic base is needed.

Nic base .42ml so PG 2.58ml. Obviously that's all correct if your flavourings are PG

It's feasible, so I don't know why it's saying it's not..

Per 10ml.

Phew!!
That's what I did as the POTV calculator said
I plugged the numbers into steam engine calculator and it said not poss.
Think I will stick with a calculator that I'm used to
Lesson to self.... Don't doubt yourself with numbers when you you have A-level maths
Thanks again @pitard9

Is that steam engine calculator?
Wondering what I entered wrong
Cheers.
Mark.

Indeed it is.

Just looked on the POTV calculator, not exactly the most precise, but simple to follow.

Everything else being PG, so for a 50/50 ratio, use 5ml of VG per 10ml. I'd certainly recommend Steam Engine though, more controls over your ingredients.

Thanks hazard93
I got ok results with steam engine once I'd switched on desktop view and changed percentage to mg/ml (very strange)
At the risk of being cheeky, could you check steam engine for me if I wanted 75/25 vg/pg and 25% flavour, still at 3mg nic on a 10ml sample.
POTV is saying it's doable but steam engine not.
Thanks mate.
Mark.
