Constant Burnt Taste. No Matter What..

ahh ok i guess i will experiment and got back at ya see how it goes thanks hope this helps me too

no bud im using red bull, was vaping nicely for a week now til i changed coils lol, on the nova it still wont vape it taste mega burnt, i was using hangsen tobaccoo liquid and that was burning non stop from day 1 on evod and nova, i switched to redbull and had no problem at all until now lol, only thing i can think of is maybe i dry burned it wrong as i wet the coil itself then dry burn... i notice alot of ppl dont actually wet the the coil wire but iv been doing it that way all the time with the redbull and was all good. now i put a new coil in its just gone wrong lol

tatau when u change coil it will taste funky for a while the new coil needs time to break in it needs time for it to build a lyer around the coil and once it does that it will start tasting good my experience is once i changed a coil it will taste like crap for a whole full tank a whole tank i vape taste like crap but the 2nd time i fill it it will start getting better cause ur starting to build (this layer) around the coil give it some time its new it needs time to break in its normal...sometimes it takes longer then others my vivi nova took 2 days before the taste went away

I do get the occasional gurgle but what I do is tip it upside down and do a 3 second burst with my battery and the coil drys out because it can not wick any more juice. So far so good

that's not helping.

You're running the coil with less juice than it needs, some of the juice is burning onto the coil, as the coil is now getting the juice hotter than intended (cos there's not enough juice there) over time this causes the coil to get less and less effective, the juice that's gunked onto the coil slowly gets more and more burnt and eventually the atomiser will flood and the juice will taste burnt.

If an evod (or an y similar design bottom coil device) flodds and gurgles then you're drawing too hard on it or the airflow into the clearo is too tight.

To clear a flooded evod, unscrew it from the battery, hold it upside down and hold some paper towel over the head end and blow through the mouthpiece. This blows the excess liquid out and resets the air channel inside.

Evods get air inflow through 3 small holes in the bottom skirt, make sure you're not blocking one with your fingers while you're vaping.

Cheers for the tips VaperCaper. I literally only just done it once just before I wrote that post. Up until that point I've done a tank though this particular EVOD and it hadn't gurgled once. Just seemed logical to me the way to get rid of the excess was to do that but I guess not. So I won't be doing it again. As for the draw I'm fairly light with it. I am with all my clearos and none of the holes get blocked.

You can try priming the wicks by pulling on it without hitting the fire button.
Helps if they're runnimg dry.

thanks bud but all my other flavours i did the same process and none tasted burnt right away they all vaped perfectly from the 1st hit...i was washin it 2 times a day and refilling (had 1ml sample flavours) and none of them needed time to soak in etc

You guys are not the first to highlight the same issue with evods & the like. I had the same thing too with mine but instead working through it i dumped them in favour of something else. Most people who recoil their evods say they get better results than the standard issue atty.
I think the tank delivery system is good but all of problems lie in the business end of things ie, that atty head. Recoiling is where it's at i'd guess.
