Had to postpone dna build as on a deadline for this mod

my mission to build a nuts mod for an equally nuts cloudchaser

dual 18650 300+ Watts

oh, and it has to be pure mech. mod

and so the idea of copperhead was born..... or mutant apocalyptic unicorn mod as he (dubious) recipient would have it :grin2:

so machines....and copper....lots of copper....you're gonna need to work out to carry this

and so we start with my favourite material...
PTFE
I like machining PTFE it leaves flakes of white everywhere.
And it doesn't melt..easily.

Nice work mate !!

I love machining hd plastic but I hate cleaning it up because its sticks to everything, static electricity :(

copper bar turned down from busbar
part formed switch and battery switch positive poles
copper for battery pads in foreground...
next up is to join the sides to the back panel.
I'm thinking drill, countersink and rivet then machine flush....
mmmmm....copper rivets.
to be continued (hopefully tomorrow)
