i don’t agree with crusty about withholding nhs treatment but i also don’t really think personally that religious or dietary reasons are valid in this situation.

it doesn’t rule them out. they can make a decision, and might use it as a basis to refuse. but they could also decide not to refuse.

i would bet many vegetarians have consumed more animal products in the food they eat in the last year than will be in the vaccine. i used to know a vegetarian who enjoyed pepperoni pizza.

You might as well go the full hog and not treat fat people.....they had a choice and chose the takeaway

that's a bit unfair, you could say the same about diabetics but then you would be basing that on type 2 diabetics who are obese. I am a type 1 which means i have been on insulin 40 years. Did i cause my diabetes?. No according to my specialist my birth was a really bad one and the hospital did things that almost cost my Mom her life, the trauma caused me to have to go into itu and my specialist told my Mom any medical or mental conditions will most likely be due to the trauma of my birth.
Anyway if what i said where to happen it may make more people accept it. If you had spent the last 12 months shielding because others can't be arsed to stop the spread then would you not moan?.

knowingly or not is irrelevant, though. by that logic you would need to support the idea of not telling vegetarians that there’s gelatine in the vaccine. vegetarians can eat gelatine, they just choose not to.

edit: and aye i think he was a bit of a dumb fuck and somehow didn’t realise pepperoni was a kind of sausage. but still, he was a vegetarian, cause he said he was and identified as one. and he also ate pepperoni pizza.

Apart from the time you fked off abroad.... shielding when it suits you it seems, which is pretty much doing what the very people you are criticising are doing.
