I just wanted to post so we don't forget that although England is officially under a full lockdown that the locked down part only consists of some recreational and retail activities.
The rest of the country including myself are still out working.
Manufacturing, prisons, carehomes, supermarkets, garden centres, hardware shops, smaller food shops, takeaways, even high street and retail park shops are doing click and collect.
Offices and call centres are still operating beit socially distanced but when you actually drill through it not that much has actually stopped functioning.
I'd say roughly 90% is still functioning and providing possible opportunities for the virus to spread.

The Media are now saying supermarkets are a spreading ground. yes folks are wearing masks but are those masks effective?. I think not

Next time you're there take a look at people and rhe way the cross contaminate all the time with nose and face touching etc.
It's not so much that they are not working it's that people are stupid and not using them properly.
There are many people that think wearing a mask under the nose is good enough.

Agree mate. Also just cause people have a mask on doesnt mean that they can brush past you and be still safe. I thought the keep ur distance still stands if ur wearing a mask.

Absolutely correct.

People need to think of masks as Covid sponges.
If you've got covid you're filling up the mask with covid contaminated breath and eventually the mask will become moist and even wet.
Then people touch their face, nose, or the habitual mask adjusters followed by touching trolleys, shelving, baked beans, bread etc.....

Yip, we are to believe that this mutation is faster spreading.... we know full lockdowns work...but this isn't a full lockdown... it's economic genocide

In my opinion this pandemic is now out of control, going by the figures the daily death rate will be up near 2000 a day this time next week, I was going to write that I don't want to scare people but then thought that if that makes people more careful then that is exactly what I want to do, I am lucky in that I am clinically extremely vulnerable and know I am dead if I catch covid-19 so I have to be as careful as possible, most people getting infected at the moment think they have nothing to worry about and a lot are right, but many are finding out they are not as fit as they thought they were the hard way and infecting other people along the way. This is a really tough time at the moment and I hope everyone takes care and stays well . Cheers Gav
