Fair enough, I have edited my post to say deaths, rather than cases, just to please you.
Maybe it was not in your opinion, but in mine it was justified.
How else would you have described the difference in values of 500 against 900 per day ?
Large, massive, great, minimal ?
It seems to me that you are trying to intimate that I am a cold hearted bastard, with no emotions.
That is as far from the truth as you could be.
I have witnessed tragedy many times in my life, including rescuing people with their feet, hands, and arms trapped in machinery.
Some of my best friends have died over the years in tragic circumstances, the most recent was one of my brother in laws, at only 40 years old.
In recent months one of my best friends father died of covid.
At several funerals the grieving wife, or sister would only speak to me at the funeral, because they felt supported by me.
Maybe you did not like the way in which my post was written. But I make no apology for this, a major part of my work for the last 25 years included writing reports in a clear, and concise manner.
Do you really think that the NHS, the government advisors, and the Cabinet Ministers, start, and end every comment between themselves with "it saddens me to say" or "I have awful" news, or "my heart goes out to their families" of course it does not !
Your own post was "60,916 new cases and 830 new deaths in the United Kingdom" not at all compassionate, same style as mine.
So do not try to make out that I am some sort of uncaring monster !
