Coronavirus UK Daily Statistics

Interesting.
As have previously said, how can you compare a countries death rates if they are all being recorded using different criteria.
Our own data is questionable as various things have been "tinkered" with since the start of the outbreak.

Of course everyone is manipulating the figures UK included.
Only the good ole USA is being honest as they think it is a competition.

The UK death toll from Covid-19 has surpassed 40,000, according to official figures, with almost 10,000 care home residents now having died from coronavirus.

The Office for National Statistics said on Tuesday that 35,044 deaths involving Covid-19 were registered in England and Wales up to 9 May. Adding the latest figures for Scotland and Northern Ireland and more up to date fatalities announced daily by the government that occurred in NHS settings, the total official UK death toll now stands at 40,011.

The figures cement the UK as the worst-affected country in Europe. Italy has recorded 30,739 deaths, Spain 26,744 and France 26,604, according to data collated by Johns Hopkins University (JHU). Germany has recorded 7,661 deaths.
