What's new

Coronavirus UK Daily Statistics

Are they including non hospital deaths today? I think that’s what I heard on channel 4 news but could be wrong.

There is no reason not to expect us to get to the Spain and Italy levels of deaths per day, that makes me go "Oh crap" as well, slightly bricking it tbh. I've never been one to stay in, now I don't like going out.

I feel exactly the same, the worst is yet to come, we can only do our best to stay safe.

The UK's coronavirus death toll has surged again, rising by 563 in the past 24 hours to a total of 2,352.

Today's figures include people who died in hospitals, but do not those who passed away in their homes without being officially diagnosed with Covid-19.

At lunchtime today First Minister Nicola Sturgeon confirmed that the Scottish death toll had increased by 16 to a total of 76 in the last 24 hours.

She added that the country’s confirmed Covid-19 cases has now reached 2,310 - up 317.

This is an increase of 563 or 31%? wtf, sorta expecting, hard to comprehend though.

If it carries on with trend at doubling every three days we'll be losing roughly 4,500 lives a day by next Thursday. :(

Right now I think it's the supermarkets that are spreading it, I dont even believe that 2 metres distancing is anywhere near enough, a sneeze comes out at 80mph? A cough is an efficient way of spreading and coating surfaces, including our faces, just talking spreads it well.
