Could I get help please?

right the different numbers mean id is the inner circle of the coil 2.5mm the 2-30/40 is just the gauge of wire its made from & the 0.80 is the ohm which i thought might suit as you coming from the endura..
Is that all pretty much interchangeable?
Forgive me for asking so many questions. Isn't there a good guide that covers everything in depth so I don't pester people here?

Is it compatible with most mtl rta tanks? What tools would i need to wrap it? i've never done it before. There's also the fact that there are soo many options in the " reel size" thingy.

it’s just wire, it works in any tank. if you get an mtl tank, just grab a 10m roll of 28awg to get you started. all you need to wrap a coil is a 2 or 2.5mm screwdriver or drill bit. with the roll of wire you have plenty of latitude to experiment with different numbers of wraps or coil diameter, or even which direction you wrap. premade coils are a faff, you might even end up needing to remove or add wraps and mess about with them anyway, and wrapping your own coils is not hard at all.

Hi and welcome @hanklowdown. :2thumbsup:

So, with ref to a easy pod for your friend i would suggest either 1 of the following, so much choice out there but these are good and so easy to use. Check out the review section as they have all been reviewed on here.

Vaporesso xros mini or xros 2 or xros nano. Inbuilt coils so you just throw the pods away. Vape club do them and sell the V2 pods which are better. Personally i would go for the Xros 2 or Nano as you can adjuat the airflow for a tight or looser moth to lung draw.

ASPIRE Favostick again built in coils so throwaway pods.

Innokin. MVP kit - again built in coils so throwaway pods.

Voopoo Vinci Pod Kit - again built in coils so throwaway pods.

All these are on vape club and for the Aspire use UK aspire vendor as we have a POTV20 code for them.

If they would prefer to have seperate coils (better for the environment) then i suggest

Aspire FlexusQ
Voopoo Doric 20
Joyetech Evio C

Any questions please let me know, i cant help with your kit but i can for your friend

Cheer. Dee

In my opinion, this is an absolute steal for the price:

Then for batteries I tend to buy Molicell from Fogstar, you can get a decent charger from there as well and they have a 15% discount code as well, I think it's POTV15 but someone else might be able to help me out with that!

I agree wholeheartedly with @ForestMagpie about the Z80 here. At £12 it's an absolute steal. I bought a second a couple of weeks ago, along with a £5 EHPro 101D, as a spare, and TBH I might still get myself a third... You really can't go wrong with it.

That said, you won't go wrong with a Grus either. They are bigger but you'd soon get used to it.

I can't comment on the Vertex because I haven't used one but another one to consider might be the Digiflavor Siren V4, a lot of people on here are recommending them lately. I have a Siren V3 and know how easy that is to build on so I can't see why the V4 would be any different. Flawless Vape Shop are selling them here for £10.99.

Another leftfield option might be the Aspire Nautilus Prime X. They take single 18650s and have a couple of RBA options for you to learn to build on. NewVaping have them for £29 with free shipping and you can get 20% off with their new customer code.

I need someone to attest to the veracity of NewVaping though as I've never actually used them and don't know much about them.

Good luck and happy shopping.
