Hi guys -

this might be a really dumb question, but i'm new to vaping and so still figuring things out a bit -

I started 7 days ago with an ego starter kit from ecigwizard. Loving vaping, havent had a cigarette since I left the shop, hurrah!

Tried a variable voltage battery in the shop the other day, and wow, more flavour, very smoke, so wow - Went home, did a lot of googling and research and settled on a kanger iPow2, variable wattage battery - goes up to 15 watts but I think only does a maximum of 5 volts. I saw that in an online video but havent seen it mentioned since but am assuming that's true. Anyway I ordered a nice silver 1600mah one and it's in the post (hopefully, by now..)

Anyway, my plan is to get a nautilis mini tank and use that combo as my every day, walking around, replacement for analogs package.

But i've been watching vids on youtube and now i'm wondering, would that battery have enough 'oomph' for me to have a play with dripping and an RDA? If so, could someone reccomend a cheap but acceptable RDA? I don't think i'll get majorly into dripping/cloud chasing, but it'd be cool to have a play with from time to time.

So basically, can I use an RDA with the Kanger iPow2 and if so, could someone reccomend one?

Many thanks

Neilythere.

You can use a RDA on your iPow, but you're not going to get huge clouds from it, as it only fires down 1.0 ohm and only goes to 15 watts.

Building coils of 1.0 ohm plus, you'd use it as a flavour chaser.

Have a look at Check&vape where he has a few, and 10% off with code jan10.

All of the currently available dripping atomisers, that allow a single coil configuration, will work well with your iPow, and give an excellent vape, even when using power below your batteries capabilities. Coils of anything from 1.0 ohms to 1.5 ohms and setting your wattage at around 12 watts should chuck out enough vapour and flavour to keep you contented.
