Covid anti-lockdown protest

.... and above anything else, what all politicians want is voters. Ask Boris how he thinks that's going, when he dreamed of being PM I'm pretty sure he didn't expect it to be like this and his legacy will not be what he wanted either.
irrespective of my views re events, I don't think Boris would give a fuck what we thought.....where is the alternative? If not the Tories then who? He fine well knows no one is going to vote for Starmer, if we wanted to go full loony we could always vote for Gorgeous George his big hat and and his 'Alliance for Unity' .....the new Lord Such:18:

@zouzounaki Nope, not heard, but in my defence I don't have a telly, only keep up with the occasional mention on the interweb. TBH, they are all prime candidates for the loony ward anyway, gone are the days (if they were ever here) where one could believe anything from someone with MP/MEP/MSP after their name.:lies:

Personally, I think Boris has done as good a job as possible over Brexit, given all the bluster, but no progress by people who were previously passed the "poisoned chalice"

Covid, he has done a better job than many other leaders in the world, given the fact that is was a new virus that nobody had any information on, about how it would behave.

So I think that Boris has been a good leader so far.
But, a part of me would like to see Starmer put in charge, and see what a fuck up he could make of running the country.

Not so, he’s still very much into unity. He wants to unify Jesus Corbyn’s supporters’ £5 a month into his bank account.

Being from Scotland the very mention of 'Tory' feels like being force-fed a shite sandwich.....but, almost for the first time ever, searching for an alternative is pretty much a barren landscape. As for the Nationalists they simply shat the bed electorally with concentrating on independence in the middle of a crisis...contrived or not; it reeked of opportunism....wee 'jimmy krankie' done her Party no favours. As for Boris, he is a bumbling fool (or at least likes to give that impression), and I would never let myself be fooled into believing that ANY Tory gave a FF for Working and lower Middle-class people.

If Starmer was leader of the Labour party last election he would have got into power. I don't vote, as i don't trust any political party. Starmer comes across as someone who has some sense and i doubt he would be on the fiddle like others are. Tories will tax the hell out of workers to recover the Covid losses this will lead to a Labour Gov and then we can judge Starmer like we do Boris. One thing in my lifetime to mention is during the Blair years i was never skint unlike when Tories have been in power,
