What's new

Cthulhu Hastur Mod, 88w VW/TC/Bypass, cool as ...

That sure is an ugly screen for such a pretty mod. Not a deal breaker though. Can you just turn it off, like a stealth mode type thing?

Nope, you can't really do anything other than switch between TC, TCR, VW and Bypass. There's no options for the display at all.

Was just considering splashing out soon.... £64.99 on ECigOne. Glad I looked back on this thread of Simon's. Not impressed with that screen.

That's a shame. It wouldn't really put me off buying one though, it's not like I really use the screen much. They seem to have paid attention to detail elsewhere, I'm surprised that was overlooked.

Here's the full manual in case anyone is interested. Hopefully Cthulhu will update the firmware with some other screen options soon, it seems a bit odd when you have such a nice quality, sharp and bright screen, but no options or adjustments. The logo boot up screen looks super cool though. :D

I need another mod soon. Reckon I'll get another Kroma-R in a different colour. I know what I'll be getting there. Put me right off, that yellow and green. But.... It's got TC control.... I fancy having a tinkle with that.

Tc works really well too, I've been using the SS setting all day and it's really good, it's as good as my DNA60. It's very stable and consistent.

They do always listen to feedback though, they might be reading this now and making a firmware update as we speak.
