If the people who are putting rules in place are ignoring them, then their rules carry no value....

After all, the prime minister, chief advisor and chief science officer don't believe its dangerous to break them, why not apply that logic to the whole 64 million population

What would be logical would be to use the 3 of them as examples of what not to do. Of the 3, 2 tested positive for Covid-19, another had all the symptoms and drove to Durham to self-isolate. One ended up in hospital in intensive care. Not very logical to follow their example imo...

Sat on the story for 2 months to what end? Why sit on a story for 8 weeks unless it wasn't in the public interest at the time?

But they are the elected people in charge of all of this. If you use your own prime minister and chief science officer as examples of how not to act then there is something seriously wrong there by all accounts.

For one, you question their judgement in other areas if they do not feel strong enough to carry through their instructions in a pandemic. how can you be so sure that anything decided via the prime minister over the next 4 years is trustworthy?

I believe that as a result of this, people SHOULD ignore the lockdown rules as they have been proven to be not important enough for the ones deciding them to follow. Now if you choose to stay indoors and not venture out then you have that option to do so. But choose so to protect yours and your families health rather than because you have been instructed to, because lets face it, that now means nothing. I know i will still be staying in when i am not in work.

Has to be cause and effect to this, otherwise another major political nightmare is just forgotten about yet again.
