Here we have a pot of silicone, inside is @Simon G corolla ring. I’m making an impression of it, tomorrow I’ll be popping that out and filling it with a custom resin mix than Simon has chosen. I have wedged a offcut of resin into the ring to create a leg in the cast which I can then grip into the chuck of the lathe.

I’ll be sure to upload some more pictures of each step as we work through this mini project. We are aiming for a Neapolitan ice cream colour [emoji16]

Picked one up the other day from Ben. Looks great but doesn't fit in the SC Glas . Think the zero fit will be too loose though.
Either that or thinner O ring.
