Small update....the start of deeper engraving on door and decided on a design on top that got to staighten up and finish....

Fill it with colour. I think it would look good with something contrasting.

If I had the skills I'd fill it with black. High shine finish, jet/ebonised look. Keep the Deco look going.
Loving the blue colour choice.
