The point that @MrDJ made is being overlooked. To use 18mg strength Nic shots to achieve an overall 12mg strength juice when being added to a bottle shot will make the flavour really weak.
You would need a stronger Nic to achieve this.

The flavour won't suffer as long as it's 20% or 25% of the mix, the nic shots will be part of the base mix for 250ml, using some PG Nic shots will bring it closer to 50/50

im confused now.
for me using a 250ml bottle needed 4-5 nic shots to make it 3mg
above want to make final mix to 12mg so if the maths worked that would be 16 nic shots at 160ml or am i missing something.

To get 12mg strength out of 18mg nic shots you would have to add so much that it would triple the bottle size hence triple the amount of liquid hence reduce the flavour percentage too much.

He's trying to make 250ml total and the bottle shot is 20% flavour = 50ml so needs a further 200ml, nic shots would be around 166ml for 12mg leaving 34ml of base mix, flavour will not be diluted from the 20% recipe, the main problem is achieving 50PG / 50VG.

Are you mixing it up with 'Shortfills'?

Took me a while to get my head around it when I first got Darkstar mixes, I bought all VG nic shots so couldn't get what I wanted, ended up buying a box of PG Nic shots and always bought PG & VG separately after that, made it a lot simpler.

Life's a lot simpler with 72mg and your own base mix.

Definitely lol. I've just worked it out using as a shortfill and agree with ur figures, just needs a combination of pg and vg nic shots.
