Day One of no ciggies

Hi all,

Five years after my first attempt at vaping to quit the fags I’m back with you all!

Some recent family news has made me really kick start my quitting campaign so a few days ago I did some research and ended up buying a HEXA Pro pod system thing! With 20mg tobacco pods.Nic Salts.

It arrived yesterday and I’ve not had a silk cut today. It’s been a brilliant replacement, even when I was in the car on my own I vaped and didn’t even think about having a ‘car ciggie’

There was a reason that I just said ‘silk cut’, what I’ve said to myself is that I’ve not quit smoking, I’ve just replaced the silk cut with my Hexa, I’m just smoking the Hexa!

anyway that’s me and fingers crossed that I can continue with my new regime,.

Thanks John, I’m really determined this time, I’ve even been drinking wine this evening and my trusty vape machine has kept me off the cigs. Hubby smokes and I’ve been going outside to vape while he smokes and I have had no desire to have a cigarette with him.

right now my vaping is following my smoking regime I.e. not before 10am and always outside, except when I’m in the car

Not smoking before 10am and going outside to smoke shows you have more self discipline than most so I think you're probably off to a good start. Good luck in quitting the smokes.

Thanks for all your replies, day 4 now and I’m pleased to say that I’ve not missed the ciggies at all.

baby steps. 4 days will soon turn into 4 weeks.
as long as youve not touched a cig your body is now going through detox and clearing all the built up shite from your lungs.
