FWIW - TAC21 update

It was barely used before trying to sell it. Since then I popped on a Trillium and have been running it while working.

What has become apparent is that although the screws are firmly screwed in, the entire top piece moves about.

If this was a budget mod I could ignore it - but this isn’t. Following on from my dead Double Barrel and the pathetic level of customer care from Squid, this bloke can get in the bloody sea.

If I’d bothered to stand by my convictions I’d not have bought the DB simply because of all that “ex-forces” bollocks, but was swayed by the design.

At the time I reckoned at least it was an American-made lump and would be tough. That it was just another dollop of shoddy Chinese shit simply serves to piss me off further.

I've liked a lot of posts above ....... but only because there isn't a 'this is bollocks isn't it, barstewards, I feel your pain' button.

For me, the irony was that the DB was my first temptation to buy something a bit special, not a Chinese cheapo mod as per usual. Yeah ...... that worked out well didn't it .......

I have a method with him if he starts to play up I get an old mod from the cabinet a crappy one, show him the mod. ‘Sigh’ a lot then wander of to the workshop and come back with just the base, sawn off and leave it in view of him

Apparently.

My wife collected my Double Barrel from Vapesque this lunch time, and apparently they were able to resurrect the little minx. Stripped, cleaned and something was re-soldered which apparently will stop the problem happening again, yeah.... Mrs Rawhead isn't one for technical details. I will venture out next week and hopefully get a more detailed rundown on exactly what was done. But, yay !
