Decided to take the plunge!

Hello everyone,

Been lurking for a very long time and finally decided to get involved.

I've been vaping for nearly 5 years now, started off with the early pen style dse 901s if I remember correctly, terrible compared to whats available now but amazing at the time. I was smitten and never looked back. My first 'mod' was the screwdriver and that was a real eye opener to what the possibilities of vaping were. Only fairly recently have I got into rebuildables but since then vaping has become almost an obsession, constantly trawling the forums, watching reviews and wishing I had enough money to buy all the wonderful new shiny things that come out. Anyway enough of the rambling, nice to meet you all.

Hello and welcome to the Planet , wow, 5 years vaping, were the early vaping models still Battery powered or did you have to wind them up ..soz..congrats to a Pioneer

Hello and welcome dansolo, wish I'd heard of vaping 5 years ago, I'm obviously a bit slow, only started in March this year! I've got two mods and have just started mixing, so I'm catching up fast. However, being a girly, I'm not brave enough to start recoiling etc yet. I've learnt loads from the people here and will continue to do so, dripping is something I want to try soon - apart from the recoiling side!!! Cheers.

Thanks for the welcomes, very nice of you. Blossom, ive only just started mixing myself. A whole new world of possibilities! Lol. You really should give dripping a go, especially when mixing your own flavours, you can change flavours as much as you like and recoiling isnt as bad as it sounds. You know better than me that the advice on this forum is superb and you'll get it in no time.

Welcome, glad you decided to join in, you are probably one of the most experienced vapers here.
I didn't see any evidence of vaping until quite recently and then decided to join the ranks, if only I had known sooner. All those fags I could have avoided!
Vaping can feel quite obsessive at times for me too, so many things to browse and flavours to mix.
I do tend to treat it as a hobby, as I think many others do, but that just makes it all the more enjoyable if you ask me

Hahaha, experienced. Never really thought of it like that, kinda makes me feel old. Lol. Vaping does really seem to have exploded recently, didn't really see anyone else vaping for a long time then suddenly I see loads of people of all walks of life vaping, it's great. Don't get anywhere near as many sideways glances or questions as I used to.
