I see, I doubt it is the cutoff voltage then making the difference, as 4.25V is fairly conservative. The cut off on the YIHI is 3.25v (or 6.50v for two batteries). It has that info on the screen (how much voltage remains).
I honestly don't know the reason why. I don't know if the YIHI is better at adjusting for the two batteries.
I have been thinking though and the only thing I can think of is that I vape at really low wattage, very rarely over 10 watts. On the YIHI the TC is measured in terms of Joules and I thought Joules equalled watts. The YIHI won't let me go any lower than 10 Joules so I vaped at 10 Watts on the Top Gear.
Maybe that is the difference, possibly 10 Joules is less than 10 watts.
There is a power mode on the VSticking and the Top Gear, so I will maybe try 10 watts on each mod in power mode and see what happens then.
That could make a big difference not being a high power user, do you vape MTL at 10 Watts? Yes I remember it being in Joules on those mods, 1 Joule is equal to 1 Watt per second, or to be more confusing 1A passing through 1 Ohm of resistance per second.
If TC is working well for you and you get great battery life I wouldn't bother changing anything, sometimes it is best to stick with what works.
What build are you using and what RTA?
