I know how you must feel, it's VERY scary when first dropped upon you. Doctors tell you precious little and the Diabetic Nurse is full of shit!

If I can, I'm going to recommend you e a copy of a book called: Type 2 Diabetes (The First Year) ISBN: 978-1-84119-804-0

Easy reading and tells you much more than the NHS Pro's will ever.

I vape 36mg and sweet flavours with no bad effects.

Thanks for the tip. I'll see if Amazon have a copy. It's also good to know that, out off all the things I'm going to have to give up, vaping isn't one of them. I am going to decrease my nic level though, just to be sure.

Nic levels and according to my Doctor.... Smoking (or nic) HELPS keep Type 2 low. So you have NOTHING to worry about. I'm not saying 'smoke' lol but vaping what ever nic level you want is NOT going to hurt one bit!

my OH has type 1 diabetes (insulin injections) and she has never had any problems vaping whatsoever,she checks her blood sugars a few times daily and has never noticed any changes since she took up vaping about 6 months ago
