DIY Gold Starter Kit -

Thanks @billy_idle .. I'll put in an order with them and see how it goes. Where would you recommend to get flavour concentrates from? TFA, Cap, PA?
I love Flavour Art, but prefer the Capella Double Chocolate and other 'bakery/sweet' type flavours are liked by people too, and Inawera is known for nice fruit flavours but don't exceed their recommended percentages. You can always dilute them though if they come out too strong.
Liesure liquids does the different main brands including TFA:

If you stick to just Flavour Art there is a Super-Six deal which is what I mainly use:

You can't really go wrong with FA to start off I think.

I get all my DIY supplies from Chef's Vapour. Good range of concentrates and never had a problem with their vg pg or nic. Not the fastest delivery and probably not the cheapest (I guess) but always been fine for me.

Different suppliers juices vary wildly.. one may do a great fresh strawberry but a rank blueberry and a flavour that works great on it's own might not work well with another that works well on it's own. Just have to experiment. Can get a good feel for what's what (and some inspiration) by reading the POTV recipes section.

Would like to hear why people suggest elsewhere. I'm not that fussed about a few quid cheaper or more expensive given how much I save DIYing, more interested in range and availability of stock, quality of bases and reliability.

If I'm just buying FA it's the few quid cheaper that I save on the FA website that I care about. £3.58 pays for a good meal.

I used to use Chefs Vapour, but got tired of everytime I wanted to place an order, one or 2 concentrates would be out of stock when I would be ordering maybe 6 or 7. I'd rather buy them all from one vendor than from several different vendors, mainly to save on delivery costs.

Then I found vapable, as I mainly use TFA, I found them cheaper, plus free delivery over £10, (I'm pretty certain Chefs Vapour didn't offer free delivery then, could be wrong though) and they had full stock of what I wanted. Plus, I have since found their customer service is excellent (I'm fairly certain CS at Chefs is good as well).
