Ooh. Just discovered that mixing snake oil with grizzlys front porch is delicious.
Winds the snake oil back a little bit and gives a lovely sweet taste at the back of the throat. What a happy accident!

Tried some of my blackberry crumble. Smells just like the real thing, tastes a bit like it on the inhale. But on the exhale I am getting a soap taste?!?!?
Reminds me of getting caught swearing as a kid.
Back to the box of steeping for this one.

A tester mix of New York cheesecake, Gingerbread, vanilla swirl, blackberries and Raspberry. It tastes ok but not quite right.

Big smiles here ... a dessert recipe that I've tried for ages to get right has worked out. The secret, as is often the case, was to let it steep as the flavours really round off and soften beautifully.
I've named it Apocalypso Now! and it's a variation on a Banana Split!
This is what works for me ... only after a 3 week steep, mind.

Inawera Banana - 5%
FlavourArt Madagascan Vanilla - 3%
FlavourArt Hazelnut - 4%
Inawera Dark Chocolate - 2%
The Flavor Apprentice Bavarian Cream - 10%
Capella Ethyl Maltol - 2 drops per 10ml

You can find all the above concentrates at Chef's Vapour.

It is beautiful!!! I found it lovely fresh and even better after a few weeks

Cinnamon+apple+tobacco+ (I think it was honey) + dregs of unlabelled bottle(which might be the tobacco/honey hint)as I picked up an unwashed bottle instead of the concentrates.It tastes quite spicy with a hint of several other flavours so I'll be chucking a few drops of this n that in a tub as I try to recreate it.I can be sure I'll never achieve this taste again unfortunately,pity as it is hot/spicy & interesting.
