Diy vanilla

Hi all,

I have some vanilla pods and want to use it for making my own juice, I have seen a number of ways to do this, one being to put the pods in pg, the other to put them in vodka.

my question is which method is best, and if it is the vodka route then how would you deal with the alcohol.

I made some in VG which turned out well. In vodka, once it's finished steeping put it in a wide mouthed container and leave the lid off for a couple of days, all the vodka will evaporate.

Thanks, I'll try vodka as I have some laying about. How long did you leave it before using it?

I put it in the microwave till it was warm but not too hot, then steeped it for a month.
