Can you still get DIYFS Holy Vanilla v1, if so where ?
As all i can find is v2
Are there any other Vanillas i should consider

I don't think it's available, not for a few years now. V2 is ok, add an extra percent or two to your V1 recipes.

Inawera Shisha Vanilla. FA Vanillas, depending on what you're mixing and blending.

Probably @StrawberryRipple is best to ask, I'm mostly into baccy these days and tbh any old vanilla, including custards, is good enough in them.

Hi @Social Misfit, sadly @andipandi is correct that the V1 was discontinued a few years ago. I have also heard about using Inawera's Shisha Vanilla as a substitute but some other well regarded mixers also recommend Vanilla Overload by Gremlin as a suitable replacement which has only recently been made available in this country from Chefs Flavours. I picked up a bottle myself and it is very nice.

Great day thank you mate, we went for a nice Italian meal but I’m stuffed and shattered now. Yes Vanilla Overload is a one shot but it’s also a concentrate which can be used at a much lower percentage when mixed with other flavours in a recipe which many of us do.
