Special Patrol Group if memory serves , those were the days , anyways enough reminiscing about my youth , is SP3 worth doing especially for SS ?
Yes, update the firmware if you haven't already. Improvements were made
.
You'll soon get used to the features of the DNA
@schlinky . Truly awesome boards
.
If you need help with Escribe just shout
. The battery settings are pretty much vital to get the best from your cell(s). I tend to have a higher "soft cell" cut off than Crustyfolker and I never get any weak battery warnings on any of my DNA mods, but I understand with single cells it is far more prone to happening than multi cell DNA's. After that, other settings are more optional.
If they haven't been entered already by the manufacturer, it's a good idea to sort out setting the mod resistance (this is the internal resistance of the wiring and connections inside the mod, some are a nice low 0.003, others are as high as 0.008 which can affect how your mod vapes if not set correctly). You can buy a wee calibration tool to fully set it up or short the 510, very simple and takes 2 mins to do. Generally you can use numbers posted up by someone else who calibrated their device properly for your specific mod and they'll work though
.
You can do your own case analysis, it takes several hours so set it going last thing at night. Or again, you can use the numbers someone else posted up for their identical device.
The rest is just customising the look and feel of your device and setting up the different profiles if you're using lots of different tanks with different coils or builds
. Saves a lot of messing around trying to remember what wattage and/or TC you were using for one tank when you swap out or having to dick about changing settings. Just select a profile when you screw on a different build and off you go
.
Enjoy bud
