DNA manual cheat sheet

The instructions that are latest in the thread are correct.

It says "Locked Clicked 5 times"

Edit - ohh I see the last two posts now.

I am still confused what keys do what but by pressing all the buttons I have at least now managed to get out of temperature control mode it has been stuck in for a few months.

Evolv should really make it clearer how to use their devices.

Can anyone recomend a good profile to set to on this?

Use the DROP or Dead Rabbit SQ usually build to around .3 or .4 cant seem to get good flavour?

SS316 standard coils most of the time - I do have some pre built fused claptons but I it was the wife who bought me them and I cant remember the details of them as havent dabbled with these particular ones yet.

Select the SS profile for temp or power/watts if using SS in power mode. There is no need to press all the buttons. Hold + & - together, using either button after screen message lets you select a profile. Tap fire button & then hold + & - together until screen message appears. If a TC profile is selected you should be able to move up/down through temperatures or if a power profile move up/down through watts. If this isn't happening then you'll need to go into escribe to change profile settings.

I did set a few profiles last night - Question is as daft as it may seem even though I set a profile in Escribe can I set the temp and wattage indivdually if I fancy a change?

On the road at the mo & only got a DNA C with me. In a TC profile if you set power & preheat in escribe you should only need to alter temp. The board will only use enough power to get to set temp. If you turn off "temperature dominant" you can adjust power but not temp I believe. On the C version all adjustments can be done on the mod.

Thanks Buddy much appreciated its one of the first gent Hcigar VT inbox so I dont think its a DNA C board I may be totally wrong though.

Never realised prior to buying there were different versions of the board so I may not have a C board

C boards were only released this year. Major differences are colour screen, ability to change settings without escribe & Replay. Inbox is on older DNA boards which require escribe for most settings.
